Refresh & Revamp. The Lasting Impact of Complete Mental Health First Aid Courses Over Quick Refreshers

During the COVID years, did you complete your Mental Health First Aid training online as face-to-face sessions were not available? Participants in the Workplace MHFA community have indicated that, after the 4-hour face-to-face MHFA refresher, revisiting the entire MHFA course might have led to greater learning outcomes.

The Standard Mental Health First Aid Face 2 Face Course

Mental Health First Aid training, akin to physical first aid courses, equips individuals with the skills to assist when someone is in need. While it doesn't prevent mental illness or guide long-term recovery, it can diminish stigma and foster empathy towards those with mental health issues. It also helps in addressing a person's hesitation to seek help or their uncertainty about how to go about it.

Face-to-face courses provide a secure environment for exploring lived and shared experiences, which can lead to improved learning outcomes. The limited time of a 4-hour refresher may not permit these valuable discussions, presenting a compelling reason to opt for the more extensive 2-day face-to-face option.

We would like to hear from you to understand your challenges with making a decision when choosing to do the 4-hour refresher course after 3 years or attending the full 2-day Face 2 Face course.

Get In touch with us to see of you are eligible to attend the 2-day Standard course for the cost of the Face-to-Face refresher.
